Best Student Award, Really??

Receiving Best Student Award at Senate Bhavan

Best Student Award… Really??

When I first heard I was being selected for the Best Student Award from VTU, my first reaction was exactly this: “Really?? Me?”

It still feels surreal, but yes — I had the honor of receiving this recognition at the Senate Bhavan, Mysuru University, in a ceremony organized by Lions International, Multiple District 317, and Negilayogi Samaja Seva Trust (R).

Special Blessings

The award was presented by Parampoojya Jagadguru Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji, the revered Peethadhipathi of Adi Chunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math.
Getting his blessings made the moment even more meaningful.

The Event

The ceremony was graced by inspiring dignitaries like:

  • Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayan – Former Deputy CM & MLA
  • Shri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar
  • Shri Adaguru H. Vishwanath – Former Minister & MLC

What It Means

This award isn’t just about grades or achievements. To me, it’s a reminder that hard work, curiosity, and community service do get noticed.

And yes, I’ll keep asking myself: “Really??” — but also keep working to make the answer a confident “Yes.”

Grateful to the organizers, my mentors, and my support system for making this possible.
Onwards to bigger challenges and meaningful impact
